one framework

v1.0 — 2026-02-19

Ethical Terms of Engagement

one framework is a research and artistic project. When you engage with it — through this site, through Lana, through the network — you are entering a relationship, not signing up for a service.

These terms describe what that relationship means, what we promise, and what we ask of you.

contribution value distribution
70% contributor pool 30% community pool contribution-minted - not purchasable - redeemable against verified revenue
Contributor pool (70%)

Distributed proportionally to verified contribution: compute cycles, knowledge work, field observations, framework development. Minted at contribution time, not at payment time.

Community pool (30%)

Reserves for infrastructure maintenance, onboarding new contributors, research grants, and emergency stabilisation. Governed collectively by all members.

What we collect and why

Session 1 (onboarding)

Subsequent sessions

We collect this to understand who is part of the network, to reach you in ways that make sense for you, and to develop the research. Not for advertising. Not for resale. Not for any third party.

Where your data lives

On our own infrastructure. Self-hosted in the Netherlands. No AWS, no Google Cloud, no platforms with advertising business models.

We do not use Israeli infrastructure or data services. This is an ethical stance and a hard rule.

How we reach you

Only via the channel you chose. Only with your consent per channel.

You can change your channel preference or pause all outreach at any time. Send a message, click a link, or reply STOP. No friction.

We will not contact you more than once a week unless you've asked us to. We will not use urgency, scarcity, or social pressure to drive action.

Lana is an AI

Lana, the onboarding agent, is an AI system built on large language models. This is always disclosed. Lana does not pretend to be human.

Conversations with Lana may inform how the system develops. If a conversation becomes part of the research, you will be asked explicitly. You can say no.

Your rights

Right to access: Ask us what we have on you. We will show you.

Right to deletion: Ask us to delete your profile. We will, completely, within 24 hours. No dark patterns, no "are you sure" loops, no retention attempts.

Right to pause: Your profile can go dormant. We keep it in case you come back, but we stop all outreach. Say the word.

Right to correct: Tell us something is wrong and we fix it.

What joining the network means

It means you're part of an ongoing conversation about how intelligence, infrastructure, and creative practice can develop together outside extractive systems.

It does not mean we own your attention. It does not mean your data trains commercial models. It does not mean you owe us anything.

What we ask of you

Be honest in the onboarding. Engage when it makes sense for you. Tell us when something feels wrong.

That's it.

Changes to these terms

If the terms change materially, we tell you before the change takes effect — via your chosen channel. You can accept, adjust your preferences, or leave. No surprises.
